BHU UET B.A.(Hons) 2016 - Exam Pattern

BHU UET 2018 will be conducted in offline mode and each programme will have a different exam date. There will be a different test paper for every programme being offered through BHU UET. As part of the exam pattern, candidates can get details like subjects, test timings, exam duration and marking scheme. 

B. A. (Hons.) Arts

The exam is of 120 minutes i.e. two hours duration. It carries 450 marks containing 150 multiple-choice questions. The questions are based on General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Human Health, History, Indian cultural heritage with special focus on major currents in Indian Thoughts, General Awareness Basic knowledge of Plants & Animals, Production of Food & Raw Materials, Environment & its Pollution, Human Body, Common Diseases, Population Explosion, Solar System, Climate & Weather, Natural Resources of Industry, literature and art. The exam includes two sets of multiple choice questions (MCQs) on Language comprehension, in Hindi and English, where the candidate is required to answer anyone, Hindi language set or English language set but he/she cannot do both. The standard is of 10+2 Examination or equivalent.

BHU UET B.A.(Hons) Exam Prepartions FAQ

1) What are the eligibility criteria for appearing in BHU UET (BHU UET B.A.(Hons) )?

Passed 10+2 or equivalent Examination securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.

2) Whether the student completing XII Science or Arts can get admission in B.A.(Hons).

Yes, Student of any Stream can take admission to B.A.(Hons). after completing his/her qualifying or XII std. exam from the recognized Board in India or Abroad including Vocational Board.

3) What is maximum Age Eligibility Criteria ?

Not to be more than 22 years on 1st July 2017 (applicant should be born on or after 1 st July of 1995).

4) Will I get sheets/papers for rough work/calculations etc.?

Yes, Examination Centre will provide. But no electronic devices are allowed in Examination Hall/Room.
