About Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test IMUCET MBA
All admissions to the various UG and PG programmes of the Indian Maritime University, Chennai and its Affiliated Institutes will be through All-India Common Entrance Tests (CETs) conducted every year, usually in the month of April. The IMUCET MBA is conducted for the students who wants to get admission in Master of Business Administration course offered by the School of Maritime Management. The duration of the MBA programme is two academic years consisting of four semesters. Each academic year shall be divided into two semesters. The odd semester is scheduled from August to January of each academic year and the even semesters from February to July of each academic year.

About Conducting Body
All-India Common Entrance Tests (CETs) conducted by Indian Maritime University, Chennai. The Indian Maritime University came into being through an Act of Parliament (Act 22) on 14th November 2008 as a Central University and is poised to play a key role in the development of trained human resource for the maritime sector. 14th November is celebrated as 'IMU Day' every year.
