Is registration necessary? How does it work? <p>Yes. Registration is a process in which your email-id and preferred password are saved in a database. On successful registration, an email will be sent to your registered email-id with a confirmation link for verification. You need to click on this link to complete the registration process. After confirming your account, use the Apply link to submit your application.</p>
To apply do I need to have an email-id? <p>Candidates must have a valid email-id prior to registering themselves with (AUAT) LLM .</p>
Is it possible to fill-up the form in fragments/parts since it is a long one? <p>Yes. It is possible to fill up the form in fragments. Even one can save the form after filling the mandatory fields in the first page and enter other data in the next login. However, it is advised to do it in one go whenever one is ready with all the details.</p>
What are these email-id and password required for? <p>The email-id (used as your user-id) and password (whatever you wish) are required to create an account with the AUAT website for submitting the ON-LINE application form.</p>
Is it possible to make payment of the application fee after submitting the application? <p>NO. Further instructions will be provided later.</p>
Is there a provision to modify a previously saved form? <p>Modification is possible upto end of Decmeber. </p>
My Credit/Debit card is not working while paying the application fee. What should I do? <p>Only Master and Visa cards are acceptable for fee payment by Credit/Debit card. If you do not have one, then take help of friends/relatives who have these cards. </p>
When shall I receive the AUAT - LLM admit card? <p>You can download admit card from first week of June. You must not mutilate the admit card nor make any change therein.</p>
What is my Unique Submission Number or What Unique Number will be sent as confirmation of my form submission ? <p>The Unique Submission Number will be identified by the string "Your Application form ID is XXXX"where xxxx is your application number in the mail you receive after form submission. [This number is valid only when it is received in a email from us]. An email will be sent only after successful submission of application. If you don't receive this email, then contact us immediately.</p>
Can I change my test centre? <p>No, you cannot change the test centre.</p>
What are the eligibility criteria for AUAT - LLM? <p>Candidates who have passed the final examination of the three-year degree program with 40% marks in concerned Honours/Major subject from any recognized University may apply.</p>
Am I eligible with 39.99 % in LLb? (Candidate Category - General)? <p>No, refer official website for minimum percentage and/or CGPA requirement.</p>
What is the minimum marks should I get both in the Graduation and in entrance exam to avail a seat in AUAT? <p>The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 40% marks in Graduation. He/she should have a required rank in the entrance test.</p>
1I have secured an eligible rank in the AUAT LLM entrance examination. My aggregate percentage is 49% in qualifying examination. Can I attend counselling? <p>No. For admission to LLM, the eligibility is "minimum aggregate of 40% in the qualifying examination".</p>
While entering the 12th exam marks, should I include the practical marks also? Can I include 11th and 12th year marks? <p>The subject-wise and aggregate marks are to be given for the 12th year examination only. Don't include the 11th year exam marks. For practical marks, use the method used by your board to calculate the subject-wise marks.</p>
Is it possible to alter the sequence of answering the sections? <p>No. Sections are taken in the order that they appear in the test book. Candidates are allowed to work only on the section being timed by the invigilators, at any given point of time. Candidates are not permitted to go back to an earlier section or go forward to a later section, even if they finish before the section time is called.</p>
Will I get sheets/papers for rough work/calculations etc.? <p>Yes, Examination Centre will provide. But no electronic devices are allowed in Examination Hall/Room.</p>
For how long is the AUAT LLM score valid? <p>The AUAT LLM score is valid for just one year.</p>
Is AUAT LLM result based on ranking or percentile? <p>The result is based on ranking. </p>
Are different sections given different weightages in score evaluation? <p>There may be relatively small differences in weightages given to different sections because of a difference in the number of questions they contain, but, all questions count equally. The number of questions in a section can vary somewhat, but it is always approximately 24.</p>
How do I obtain my degree/certificate for Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) LLM.? <p>To obtain the degree/certificate one may write to : New Town Campus IIA/27, New Town, Kolkata-700 156, India.</p>
You are asking only the SC/ST/PwD candidates to upload the category certificate. What about the OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates? Do they have to upload the category certificate too for Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) LLM. ? <p>No. Category certificate is required at this stage only to claim the concessional rate for the application fee. The category of the candidate has been captured for general information purpose only.</p>
Do all students get hostel facilities? <p>The hostel is located 17, Haji Md. Mohsin Square, Kolkata-700016. Sixty percent of its berths are reserved for the accommodation of Aliah University students studying in Islamic Theology and Mumtazul Muhaddethin (M. M.). Students are admitted in the hostel strictly on merit basis and on production of documentary evidence of their permanent residence. </p>
Is Aliah University a U.G.C. Government Recognized University? <p>Aliah University is a UGC,AICTE and NCTE approved Autonomous Institution under the Dept. of Minority Affairs and Madrash Education,Govt. of West Bengal.</p>
How is seat allocation done? <p>The first indicative seat allocation list may comprise of some additional seats over and above the total available seats among the participating institutions.</p>
What is the Counselling fee? <p>Counselling fee is the payment made by a candidate to show his/her seriousness/commitment in taking admission in any of the participating NLU(s). Counselling fee is not a separate fee, it is the adjustable advance paid which subsequently gets adjusted at the time of admission from the fee payable to the respective University by a candidate.</p>
Is there any reservation available on domicile basis in any of the Aliah University? <p>Yes, Some of the participating Law Universities have provision of domicile based reservations for which the candidates are advised to refer to official website.</p>
