I have OBC-NCL certificate issued in the format specified by a state government. Can I upload this certificate to avail myself of OBC-NCL benefits? <p>No. The certificate should be in the format specified by the central government as per the prescribed format and the caste should be in the central list of OBCs.</p>

I have declared my category as OBC-NCL during JEE (Main) registration. But I do not belong to Non-Creamy Layer (NCL). Can I register for JEE (Advanced) ? <p>Yes, you can register by declaring that you do not belong to OBC(NCL) provided if your JEE (Main) score is above the general category cut-off. If your JEE (Main) score is below the general category cut-off you are not eligible for JEE (Advanced).</p>

When will I get my Admit Card? <p>No separate admit card will be issued for AAT. The original admit card of JEE (Advanced) 2017 should be produced in the AAT examination hall.</p>

PIO and OCI card holders are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced(AAT) 2017 or not? <p>Yes, as per the rules of JEE Advanced(AAT) 2017 all foreign nationals are eligible to appear for the exam.</p>

Are PIO and OCI card holders eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced)(AAT) 2017 without writing JEE (MAIN)? <p>No. This option is available to foreign candidates only (please refer to the information brochure for foreign candidates).</p>

If I am absent in one of the papers, will my result be declared ? <p>You will be considered absent from the examination and will be disqualified to receive the result. It is compulsory for you to appear in both the papers.</p>

I have accepted a seat through JoSAA 2016. Am I eligible for JEE (Advanced) ? <p>If you have accepted seat in IITs then you are NOT eligible for JEE (Advanced).</p>

I am a defense service (DS) personnel. Can my child get a seat under DS category? <p>Not all defense service personnel&#39; children are eligible for DS category seats. DS category seats are earmarked for children of defense/paramilitary personnel killed or permanently disabled in action during war or peacetime operations.</p>

Is there any dress code to appear in JEE (Advanced) ? <p>Do not wear unnecessary things such as rings, chains, bangles, ear-rings or a modern watch. A simple analogue watch is permitted so that you can have the estimate of time.</p>

Do I need to pay any fee at the time of seat acceptance? <ul> <li>YES. At&nbsp;&nbsp; the&nbsp;&nbsp; time&nbsp;&nbsp; of&nbsp;&nbsp; seat&nbsp;&nbsp; acceptance, you have to remit (by E-challan mode of payment at State Bank of India, any brach) seat acceptance fee.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li> <li>Allotment of seat will be solely based on the category?wise All India Rank in the JEE (Advanced) 2017</li> <li>This seat acceptance fee will be adjusted against the admission fee of the admitting institute.
