FAQ

If I miss the test on the scheduled date, will I be eligible for a refund? No.

If I miss the test, can I take it up on another day without paying for the test? No, you are not allowed

Am I allowed to carry a calculator or mobile into the test venue? No

What are the ENTRANCE TEST CENTRES and When should I report at the test venue? The Test will be held at the following Centres, provided there are sufficient number of candidates for the concerned Centre: Varanasi Mirzapur* Gorakhpur Lucknow Kolkata Delhi Hyderabad Chennai *Rajiv Gandhi South Campus – Barkachha, Mirzapur. Report one hour before the test.

What is the format and duration of the test? There shall be ONE THEORY PAPER and TWO PRACTICALS. The Theory Paper shall comprise 50 multiple-choice questions of 60 minute duration carrying 150 marks. Questions shall be on general awareness in Visual Arts (Painting, Sculpture, Commercial Art/Applied Art, Pottery, Ceramics and Textiles). There will be TWO Practical Examinations viz. (i) Object drawing in pencil with light and shade of 90 minutes duration carrying 150 marks. (ii) Memory Drawing from imagination of 90 minutes duration carrying 150 marks (in any medium i.e. Pencil, Colour Pencils, Pastels, Crayons, Water Colour, Poster Colour etc.).

When will the results be announced? After 10 working days of the test.

Will the results be available online? Yes , on BHU website.

Can I change my test centre? No

How long is the score card valid? The score is valid for one year only

When and how will I get the admit card (hall ticket)? Candidates can download the ADMIT CARD from the BHU Entrance Test Portal (www.bhuonline.in) around one week prior to date of conduct of test providing the unique registration ID allotted to them at the time of online submission of application form.

Is BHU UET result based on ranking or percentile? The result is based on ranking.

Am I guaranteed a seat in a college with the UET score? NO. BHU UET is only one of the requirements in the admission process into a course. Student’s will have to adhere to all the prerequisite of the admission.

What happens if I do not receive the score card before the admission process in colleges? The candidate can either show the photocopy of the application form or admit card to the college authorities to block the seat and produce the score card later.
