What is the application procedure for CWAT? <p>There will be a Written Admission Test (WAT) for admission to the B.Ed Course 2017-19 of Army Institute of Education (AIE), Greater NOIDA. The application form can be downloaded from Institute website ( and the prospectus is available in all Command HQs, (AWES cell).</p>

Can I pay application fee through Cash? <p>Yes, you can pay application fee by cash.&nbsp;</p>

What are the documents I have to attach with the application? <p>Following documents will be enclosed with the application form and the candidates are advised to ensure that they have annexed all the relevant ones with their application forms before sending it to Army Institute of Education, Greater Noida:-</p> <ul> <li>Admit Card and Attendance Card.</li> <li>Proof of age as per Std X / XII or Equivalent Examination Mark-sheet /TC.</li> <li>Statement of Marks of qualifying examination with aggregate marks.</li> <li>Statement of Marks of higher degrees / examinations.</li> <li>Appropriate certificates in respect of various categories to avail priority of admission which are as under:- <ul> <li>Certificate No 1 (for dependents of Army personnel serving / retired).</li> <li>Certificate No 2 (for dependents of Army personnel killed in action / died during service / disabled in action).</li> <li>Certificate No 3 (for dependents of Army Medical Corps / AD Corps Officers serving in Air Force / Navy Medical Establishment).</li> <li>Certificate No 4 (for dependent of serving MNS / APS / TA Personnel).</li> <li>Certificate No 5 (for adopted children of Army personnel at least 05 years prior to seeking admission)</li> <li>Certificate No 6 (for children of widows of Army personnel who are born as a result of first marriage and the widow later re-married a civilian).</li> <li>Certificate No 7 (for step children of Army personnel who were born out of a wedlock where at least one parent belonged to Army).</li> </ul> </li> </ul>

How will I get my Admit Card? <p>The admit card bearing the WAT roll number will be sent to the candidates by speed post or registered post on the address indicated by them on the white envelope provided with the application form. Candidates are requested to write their postal address with PIN Code clearly for ensuring its quick delivery. The admit card bearing the WAT roll number will be issued to all the candidates by Army Institute of Education, Greater Noida.</p>

How will I know the status of my application? <p>You have to follow website notice in starting page.</p>

What is the need of e-receipt? <p>You have to attached a copy of the e-receipt with your printed copy of application and other documents.</p>

What ID proof should be shown in the entrance examination hall (i.e Voter’s ID, Passport, Driving license with photo)? <p>If you possess a valid admit card with photograph issued by us, there is no need for any other ID proof.</p>

What are the permitted materials I can bring with me to the test centre? <p>None. You will not be permitted to bring any personal items to the test centre, including but not limited to wrist-watch, cellphones, calculators, etc.</p>

If a candidate does not receive the WAT admit card?what should they do? <p>If a candidate does not receive the WAT admit card bearing his /her WAT roll number by 10 April 2017 he / she should immediately approach Army Institute of Education, Greater Noida telephonically giving particulars of his / her full name, address, the institution he /she has applied, citing his / her corresponding application form number so as to enable Army Institute of Education, Greater Noida dispatch the duplicate one.</p>

What is the eligibility criteria for Punjab university- B.Ed? <p>The candidates aspiring for admission to the B. Ed. course at Army Institute of Education must meet the eligibility criteria given below:-</p> <ul> <li>Mandatory Requirement The applicant must fall in any of the category listed. Widows / war widows dependents of disabled personnel should be in receipt of regular / liberalized medical pension for being considered eligible.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Educational Qualifications For Graduates:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Candidates with at least 50% marks either in Bachelor&rsquo;s degree and /or in the Master Degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities.</li> </ul>

This year I am appearing/have appeared in graduation final year examination. Am I eligible to take admission in the B.Ed.? <p>Yes. Final year degree students can also apply for the B.Ed. program but they have to deposit their final year mark sheet with at least 50% marks before 31st August.</p>

If I have secured more than 45% marks in my previous years but unable to manage 45% marks in aggregate after final year result. In this case, may I be allowed to pursue B.Ed program? <p>No. Minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, are compulsory in graduation/post graduation to pursue B.Ed program.</p>

This year I have passed previous year of post graduation. Now I want to pursue B.Ed program. Is it possible? <p>Yes. You can take break from your post graduation and can resume your PG after passing B.Ed; subject to the permission from the University from where you are pursuing your post graduation. You should remember that your graduation must be with at least 50% marks.</p>

Whether a candidate securing 50% or more in aggregate but less than 50% marks in Honours subject is eligible for admission in B.Ed. programme? <p>Yes, such candidate is eligible for admission in B.Ed. programme, as the requirement is 50% marks in the Aggregate.</p>

Whether a candidate who has undertaken a degree in vocational subjects is eligible for the B.Ed. programme? <p>No. A candidate who has undertaken a degree in vocational subjects is not eligible for the B.Ed. Programme.</p>

For how long is the Combined Written Admission Test(B.Ed) For B.Ed score valid? <p>The Combined Written Admission Test(B.Ed) For B.Ed score is valid for just one year.</p>

I have submitted my original documents at the time of counselling at the other college. What should I do now? <p>You should give us an acknowledgement for the deposition of original documents at other institution.</p>

What is the intake capacity of Army Institute of Education (AIE)? <p>The institute has <strong>100</strong> seats for the B.Ed. course every year. Seats are allocated to the aspiring dependents of the serving / retired Army personnel from across the country on the basis of their merit in the Written Admission Test (WAT) to be held on 16 April 2017 (Sunday) at 15 specified examination centers in the country.&nbsp;</p>

Do you have Hostel Facility for students within the campus? <p>Yes,Army Institute of Education provides hostel facility separately for both boys and girls.This facility is available on first-come-first-served basis. The application for accommodation in the Army Institute of Education Girls Hostel/Boys Hostel should be submitted to the Hostel Warden on the prescribed form available at the time of admission, after recommendation/approval of the Principal/Admission Committee. Permission to attend B.Ed course as a day scholar, may be granted by the Chairman, on extreme compassionate grounds on case to case basis.</p>

Is there any dress code for the College? <p>AIE specified uniform is compulsory for the students.</p> <ul> <li><strong>Boys -</strong> Navy blue pant &amp; sky blue shirt (full sleeve). Navy blue Coat and scarf for winter.</li> <li><strong>Girls -</strong> Same as boys &amp; Turquoise Blue Saree</li> <li><strong>Shoes/Bellie</strong> - Black leather for all.</li> </ul>

What is the fee structure for B.Ed in Army Institute of Education (AIE)? <p>The fee per annum for the B. Ed. Programme at Army Institute of Education is as under:-</p> <ul> <li>War Widows :- 54,605.00</li> <li>Other Categories:- 84,030.00</li> </ul> <p><strong>Note:-.</strong> &nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Fee for the full one year be paid in advance before beginning of the academic session. The Fees structure may be revised as per the direction of Govt of NCT of Delhi/GGSIP University during the session also.</li> <li>College fee for 2nd year will be ? 76,930/-.</li> </ul>

What are the important documents need to be submitted at the time of COUNSELLING - CUM - ADMISSION? <p>The following certificates will be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission:-</p> <ul> <li>Self certified/attested copies of relevant degree and statement of marks of qualifying examination and other higher examination passed by the candidates.</li> <li>Character / Conduct Certificate issued by a Gazette Officer / Head of the Institution last attended, in original.</li> <li>Migration Certificate from the university from which the candidate has passed his / her last examination, in original.</li> <li>Medical Fitness Certificate. (Certificate No 8), if not submitted earlier, in original.</li> </ul>

Does the Institute have state of art infrastructure? <p>Absolutely, yes. excellent Mess and Cafeteria, a well equipped Amphitheater and seminar halls, a well stocked library, Indoor and outdoor sports facilities, well coordinared transport network,Wi-fi hot spots, 24&times;7 internet access and round the clock security.</p>

Do my parents need to accompany me when I come for counselling? <p>No, it is not mandatory for your parents to be come with you.&nbsp;</p>

When do I need to pay admission / tuition fee? <p>The first year fees is paid on the day of counselling/admission. Subsequent fees must be paid on the dates that will be notified through official website.</p>
