What is AWES-WAT? Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) conducts Combined Written Admission Test (WAT) entrance exam to provide admission for desired candidates for various courses offered by various Indian Army Institutes such as ACN (Army College of Nursing), AIN (Army Institute of Nursing),

What is the application process for WAT? Candidates can obtain WAT-AWES application form and prospectus from the concerned Army institute by paying the requisite amount either by cash or by sending a nationalized bank draft drawn in favour of the concerned institution. It should be directly payable at the station where that particular institution is situated. The prospectus and application form can also be available at the head quarter of Army Welfare Education Scheme (AWES). The candidates should submit the completed application form to the concerned institute before the last date. The candidates can also download the application from the official website of the Army Welfare Education Society.

What is the Syllabus for WAT? For Written Admission Test (WAT), there is no pre-defined syllabus. So, the students have to prepare by following the test pattern and its different sections. The test measures the aptitude, reasoning and knowledge skills of the candidate and his/her command over English language.

What is the exam patter for WAT? Written Admission Test (WAT) conducted by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) basically comprises 150 objective types of questions. The duration of the written test is of 3 hours. English language is the medium of the test and this test does not follow the pattern of negative marking. Is there any requirement of computer skills? The candidate need to only know how to operate computer mouse.

Is there any special arrangement for Persons with Disability? Yes. Need based assistance shall be provided to the PWD candidates.

What will be the medium of Online examination? Medium of examination is English.

What will happen in case there is some problem in computer during the examination? There will be enough buffer systems available in the examination center to take care of such problems and time lost in change of system will be duly taken care of as each and every second will be recorded by the server.
