What is ILICAT(Indian Law Institute Common Admission Test)? <p>ILICAT or Indian Law Institute Common Admission Test is conducted by Indian Law Institute for admission to two year LLM programme. It is a postgraduate law examination for conducted by one of country&rsquo;s premier law institute. Students who have passed out from Indian Law Institute New Delhi have been placed in higher posts. It is a national level examination where students are selected purely on the common admission test.</p>

Is the availability of forms will be online or can it be purchased from any bank or institution. <p>The application forms are available online . A candidate can apply by logging into official websiteeither online or in person or by Registered Post/ Speed Post/ Courier/ Messenger . Forms are not available in any bank or institution.</p>

I have made mistakes in the application form, can I correct it? <p>Yes, corrections can be made.</p>

I have forgotten my password, how to retrieve it? <p>Go through the &ldquo;Forgot Password&rdquo; link in the login window.</p>

Which modes are available for fee payment? <p>Fee payment can be done through debit/credit card, net banking or through bank Challan.</p>

If any candidate face problem in filling up of form, to whom can he approach? <p>Candidate can take the assistance of Facilitation Centres for submission of application form. Common Services Centres will act as the Facilitation Centres this time and will provide the services against the fee prescribed.&nbsp;</p>

Can a candidate change its centre city after allotment of roll number? <p>In no case, centre city can be changed.</p>

If one does not get Admit Card, whom should he contact? <p>Admit cards will not be sent to candidates. These will be uploaded on website. Candidates need to download the Admit Card from the website only.</p>

What are the eligibility criteria for appearing in ILICAT? <ul> <li>LL.B. Degree (with not less than 50% marks) from any University / Institution recognized by Bar Council of India as eligible for enrolment as an advocate in India.(5%Relaxation in the requirement of marks for Reserved Categories of candidates for deciding the eligibility.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;or</strong></p> <ul> <li>A Law Degree from a foreign country with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade.</li> </ul>

I am appearing final year LLB Students. Can I apply for the exam? <p>Yes, You Can.</p>

I am a General class candidate and got less than 50% (in the range of 40-50%) in my graduation. Am I eligible for ILICAT LLM Entrance Exam? <p>No,you are not allowed but if you are belonging to resreved category you are allowed.</p>

Can I take admission if the result of my qualifying examination is awaited or I have back-log/ re-appear/ compartment in the qualifying examination? <p>Applicants who are either awaiting their result or are due to appear for qualifying exam may also apply, provided they furnish/ submit the result of the qualifying examination to the university either by the last date(15th sept.) of provisional registration or at the time of admission, or by the last date as specified by the university.</p>

May I use calculator in the examination? <p>No, use of calculator, mobile phone or any other electronics devices is strictly prohibited. All the rough work should be done on the rough paper provided to student during examination.</p>

Graduation marks have not been announced for my College. What should I do? <p>Please leave the fields blank where Graduation marks details are asked in phase I form if your results are not yet announced. You can fill these details in phase II form.</p>

For how long is the ILICAT score valid? <p>The ILICAT score is valid for just one year.</p>

What is the fee structure for the LLM programs at Indian Law Institute ? <p>Fee to be paid:- Rs-80,000 per annum.</p>

Are there any RESERVATIONS/ QUOTA of seats for seeking admission at Indian Law Institute ? <ul> <li>15 per cent seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and 7 &frac12;% seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes. &nbsp;</li> <li>27 per cent seats are reserved for candidates belonging to OBC. The OBC candidates if they wish to be considered under OBC Category should give Non Creamy Layer OBC declaration and undertaking with the application form for admission. &nbsp;</li> <li>3 per cent seats are reserved for Physically Handicapped candidates.</li> </ul>

Are scholarships available for the Institute Students? <ul> <li>The Institute offers scholarships of `10,000/- per annum to the students admitted in ILI in order of merit of the Common Admission Test to the first two students admitted to LL.M. - 1 year. &nbsp;</li> <li>The scholarship will be awarded after the 1st trimester examination. &nbsp;</li> <li>The scholarship will continue till these students complete their studies provided they continue to secure minimum 55% marks in the 1st attempt of the university examinations and maintain the quality of research papers submitted by them during the course of study.</li> </ul>

What are Institute rules for attendance? <p>80% attendance is compulsory for all students pursuing regular courses of study.<br /> <strong>Note:</strong> It is compulsory for students of LL.M. &ndash; One Year Programme to attend the functions/ lectures organised by the ILI as and when invited.</p>

Should we deposit the original certificates on the day of counseling? <p>No need to deposit, but you have to produce all original certificates for scrutiny by the University.</p>

Has Indian Law Institute witnessed any act of ragging? <p>Not at all.Ragging in any form shall be strictly prohibited within the premises of the Institute as well as on public transport or at any other place public or private. If any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the authority, the concerned student shall be given liberty to explain and if his/ her explanation is not found satisfactory, the authority would expel him/ her from the Institution.&nbsp;</p>

Should the parents come along with the candidate at the time of counseling? <p>It is not compulsory. But, the presence of candidate is mandatory.</p>

Is the counseling fee / tuition fee paid refundable in case we withdraw later? <p>Please see the information under refund published in official web portal.</p>

Can the counseling date be rescheduled? <p>Not possible!.</p>
