What is JEMAT? <p>Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) is conducted by West Bengal University of Technology for taking admissions into different postgraduate management programs offered by various management institutes associated with the West Bengal University of Technology.</p>

Where can I get the application form for JEMAT? <h3>Applicants download the application form from (www.wbut.ac.in)and (www.wbut.net).</h3>

What is the amount of demand draft and in what name the DD has to be entitled? <p>Examination fee for general category is Rs 600/- and Rs 300/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates (without late fine) while the corresponding fees are Rs 1000 and Rs 500 respectively (with late fine). The DD is drawn in favor of the West Bengal University of Technology payable at Kolkata.</p>

What to do if photograph and signature are not getting uploaded or Can the photograph and signature be uploaded at some later stage? <p>Please check the size of the photo (20 to 100 KB) and sing (20 to 100 KB)and format of files must be JPG or JPEG. NO, the Photo and sign are to be uploaded at the time of applying only.</p>

Will the University send my Admit Card by post? <p>NO, Admit card has to be downloaded from the website using your application no. and password already sends to be your mobile/email id at the time of online application.</p>

What is the mode of written examination? Please suggest some selective book? <p>The written paper will consist of multiple choice objective type question and will be OMR based. NO specific book is recommended . Kindly refer to &ldquo;scheme of examination &rdquo; page.</p>

Is West Bengal University of Technology recognized by UGC?   <p>There are around <strong>32&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;universities approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) in West Bengal state.</p> <p>The University came into operation formally with the assumption of the office of the first Vice Chancellor on January 15, 2001 as a sequel to the promulgation of THE WEST BENGAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY ACT, 2001, under West Bengal Act XV of 2000 passed by the West Bengal Legislature. The University started its academic programme, from July 16, 2001 following a Notification from the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal dated June 15, 2001 through the affiliation of Engineering and Management Institutions / Colleges and has entered the eighth year of its functioning. The University is included in Section 2F and also in Section 12B of UGC and recipient of UGC Grant.</p>
