How to Prepare for NCHMCT JEE 2016

Strategy to prepare

Each correct answer under Numerical Ability & Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning & Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs and English Language components carry one mark. For any wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.

The Graded mark(s) will be awarded under Aptitude for Service Sector component in the following manner; the most appropriate answer carries 1.00, the next appropriate answer carries 0.75, the next to next appropriate answer carries 0.50 whereas the last in appropriate answer shall carries negative marks of 0.25 to be deducted. Hence, prepare this section well. Also remember that you must attend all questions in this section as you always stand to gain even if your answer is not correct.

English Language has maximum weightage in this examination. Hence, you must prepare well. Pay attention to your vocabulary from the day one. Grammar and RC questions are easy or moderate. Hence, practicing some model papers may serve the purpose.

Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude are also on the moderate side. But Scientific Aptitude will be there in this section. Hence, students with Arts and Commerce back ground may be in disadvantage. Be careful in this area.

Reasoning needs practicing. If you are prepaing for BBA or Law then you need not worry about this section. But if it is only NCHMJEE then special care should be taken for this section.

While revising GK/Current Awareness, candidates need to go through top news stories regularly. Apart from that, focus on General Awareness Questions and static topics.

Except for the section on General Awareness. or preparation on General Awareness, in addition to reading newspapers regularly.
