SRH Hochschule Berlin is a private university in Germany that was established in 2002. The university nurtures the future professionals of the world through advanced and qualitative education. It maintains campuses in Berlin and Dresden. The programmes offered at the university are accredited by the German Council of Science and Humanities (Wissenschaftsrat) and the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA).

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses
 
The university campus is located in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district in West Berlin, right at Ernst-Reuter-Platz. Nearby are the Berlin Victory Column, the famous shopping street Ku’damm and the largest zoological park in Europe. Several cafes, restaurants, clubs, museums, theatres and art galleries can be seen in this part of the city, offering students a variety of options to organise their leisure time. The university offers bachelor’s, master’s, and MBA programmes in both English and German languages. The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) programme is offered in International Business Administration and International Hotel Management. Further, the Master of Science (M.Sc.) programme is offered in Cyber Security and Big Data & Artificial Intelligence. The MBA programmes offered at SRH Hochschule Berlin are globally acclaimed. The specialisation areas of the MBA programme include General Management, Healthcare Management, and International Business. All the programmes offered at the university are designed incorporating the trends and demands of the global industry ecosystem.

SRH Hochschule Berlin maintains corporate partnerships with leading businesses to involve students in commercial projects and internships. Student Diversity & Visiting Companies

With approximately 1000 students from over 70 nations, SRH Hochschule Berlin is a place where people of different nationalities and backgrounds gather and exchange views and expertise. The student employment division of the college organises career fairs to help students meet potential employers. Visiting companies for recruitment and internships are IBM, KPMG, Prepogo Pvt. Ltd, LearningMate and many more.

COVID- 19 Response 

  • SRH Hochschule Berlin will conduct the classes for the first week of the summer semester 2021 in online mode.

  • The in-person classroom option is also available for some portion of the module. Students can communicate with the lecturer and arrange for classes on campus. However, all safety protocols and guidelines will have to be followed.

  • Students who cannot attend the in-person classes can access the classes online. Such classes will be offered in a hybrid format.

  • No face-to-face events will be conducted in universities until March 31, 2021.

  • Students and staff visiting the campus must wear a mask all the time, maintain personal hygiene and keep a certain distance from each other.

The Germany Scholarship 2021

 

The Germany Scholarship is funded by the federal government to support students who are talented and have outstanding achievements. It is a merit-based scholarship available to all students irrespective of their citizenship. A total of 8 Germany Scholarships are available for the 2021 session: 

Eligibility Criteria 

The minimum requirements to be considered for the Germany Scholarship is as follows:

  • The candidate must be enrolled in the summer semester of 2021 at SRH Hochschule Berlin. 

  • The candidate must have excellent academic performance in school.

  • The candidate must not hold any other scholarship.

  • The candidate must be enrolled in more than one year of studies at SRH Hochschule Berlin.

Value of Scholarship: 300 Euros is for at least 1 year. It is funded equally by the public sector and sponsors from the private sector.

How to Apply?

The candidate must submit a handwritten application to be considered for the Germany Scholarship. Download the Germany Scholarship Application from the official website, fill it and send it via email at deutschlandstipendium.hsbe@srh.de

The application form must be sent with other documents mentioned below:

  • Letter of motivation explaining the reasons for selecting a particular subject to study at SRH Hochschule.

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) with a recent photograph

  • University’s entrance qualification certificate for international students

  • Undergraduate degree certificate, if applicable

  •  Transcript 

  •  Letter of Recommendation

  •  Certificate of Enrolment 

  • Other supporting documents to be considered for a scholarship

SRH Berlin Scholarships for non-EU students

SRH Hochschule Berlin offers a partial scholarship to support first-year students financially. Students enrolled in either bachelor’s or master’s degree programmes at SRH Berlin are eligible to receive the scholarship based on certain criteria. Various scholarships available under this category are:

Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria to be considered for SRH Berlin Scholarships is as follows: 

  • The candidate must have a letter of acceptance from the SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences

  • Must be highly motivated

  • Must have outstanding academic performance

  • Must demonstrate social, entrepreneurial work samples/ artistic work samples/ letter of motivation 

Scholarship Value: SRH Berlin Scholarships covers 50% of the tuition fee for the first year.

How to Apply?

Candidates must apply for the degree programme before the deadline. The candidates will be directly contacted for a scholarship based on their achievements.

Scholarship Deadline: The candidate must submit the scholarship application within  2 weeks of receipt of an invitation to apply for it.
