• The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
• There will be a total of 30 questions in the exam. 
• The questions will be objective, short-answer, and long types of questions for 1, 2, 3, and 4 marks.
• There will be no negative marking in the exam.
• At least 33% in a subject and overall is the minimum score needed to pass the board exams.

CBSE Class 10 Exam Pattern 2023-24

CBSE Class 10 Exam Pattern 2023-24 for the academic year 2023-24, each of the subjects in the CBSE Class 10 exam will be conducted for 100 marks. Out of these, 80 marks will be allotted for the theory exam, and the remaining 20 marks will be evaluated based on the internal assessment. The 20 marks will further be evaluated based on three criteria, Periodic Test, Notebook Submission, and Subject Enrichment Activity. Moreover, CBSE class 10 question papers would include 40% MCQs, 20% competency-based questions and 40% subjective or short/long answer type questions.
