Karnataka 2nd PUC English Syllabus 2024-25: The Department of Pre-University, Karnataka will release the Karnataka Board 2nd PUC English Syllabus 2024-25 for all stream students on its official website - www.pue.kar.nic.in. There is no chance of a reduction in the Karnataka 2nd PUC English Syllabus for the AY 2024-25. The Karnataka 2nd PUC English Syllabus 2024-25 is divided into two parts: English Language and English Literature. There are a total of 14 chapters including prose and poetry in the Karnataka 2nd PUC English Syllabus 2025. The Karnataka 2nd PUC English exam will be conducted for 100 marks, where the theory paper will carry a weightage of 80 marks and an internal assessment of 20 marks. Karnataka 2nd PUC English Marking Scheme 2024-25
According to the marking scheme for Karnataka 2nd PUC Core English Syllabus 2024-25, the theory part including Reading Comprehension, Creative Writing Skills, Literature carries 80 marks altogether. While the other part, which assesses listening and speaking abilities, is for 20 marks, the entire paper is worth 100 marks.

The Karnataka 2nd PUC English Question Paper will comprise various types of questions including MCQs/ objective questions, short answer type, and long answer type questions. Students will get question types like MCQ, 4 Marks, 6 Marks, Short and Long Answer. A total of 30 questions will be there in the Karnataka 2nd PUC English Question Paper. Students will get 3 hours to complete the Karnataka 2nd PUC English Question Paper and an extra 15 minutes will be given to read the question paper.
- Multiple Choice Questions can be opted from all units.
- 4 Marks Questions must be chosen 4 from poems and 6 from prose.
- 6 Marks Question must be chosen 1 from drama and 1 from poem.
- For Grammatical topic questions, it is mandatory to follow the respective chapters only.
- Avoid repetition of the questions from same unit both short and Long Answer.
