Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, popularly known as RIMS Ranchi, was established in 1960 as Rajendra Medical College Hospital. The medical college is affiliated with Ranchi University, Jharkhand. RIMS Ranchi courses include MBBS, MD/MS, MDS, and DM/M.Ch courses. The MBBS intake capacity at RIMS Ranchi is 150. The RIMS Ranchi admission process for MBBS is done through the NEET UG exam. A total of 15% seats are allotted by the MCC under the AIQ and the rest of the seats are allotted by the JCECE board.
