Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences (WUAS) is a private higher educational institute situated in Apeldoorn, Netherlands. It was established in 1987 to offer bachelor's and master's degree programmes that would generate work and employment opportunities for graduates. The doctoral programme at the Wittenborg University of Applied Science is offered in partnership with other research universities. The business degree programmes offered at WUAS are double accredited by NVAO and FIBAA. WUAS is a thriving higher education institution in the Netherlands offering quality education in business studies at two locations i.e Apeldoorn and  Amsterdam.

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences (WUAS) has two campuses located at Apeldoorn and  Amsterdam. The main campus of Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is situated in Apeldoorn, which is home to a large number of international students. Apeldoorn campus is adorned with state of the art infrastructure and houses along with few historic buildings with the necessary amenities and facilities required for students studying at the university. The newest campus of WUAS opened in 2015 at Spoorstraat. The Amsterdam Campus of WUAS is situated in the heart of the city and is the best location for job opportunities for graduates as numerous companies, businesses, tourism and cultural heritage are set close to Amsterdam. WUAS offers BBA and MBA degree programmes accredited by NVAO and FIBAA. Along with a variety of BBA and MBA courses, students will also be able to pursue PG Certificate and Pre Masters courses as well.

Accomplishments & Alumni 

Since its inception, WUAS has been awarded many recognitions and honours, which also include the ECA Accreditation for Internationalisation. The special characteristic of ‘internationalisation’ was given for its bachelors IBA programmes. The university has built an international reputation for itself based on three fundamental pillars i.e diversity, ethics and internationalisation. The alumni of WUAS can be found all over the world and are associated with the university in some form or method. The University hosts regular meetups either online or in-person to share ideas and even to update students and alumni members on the careers and jobs available for graduates of the university.

COVID-19 Response 

Understanding the need to keep the students, staff and faculty members safe during such unprecedented times, Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences has implemented an appropriate COVID-19 Response. From hybrid models of learning to strict implementation of social distancing measures, WUAS is dedicated to reduce the spread of the virus within the community.

  • Wittenborg University of Applied Science (WUAS) has implemented Hybrid Teaching amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Students can either attend classes in the classroom or they can get connected ‘live’ from a remote location.

  • Students who cannot attend live classes can also study using the recorded sessions. The study material is shared with all students by the concerned department.

  • All classes are scheduled on time and students must visit the classroom on time for face to face interaction.

  • Those who visit the campus must wear masks all the time, wash their hands frequently and also maintain personal hygiene.

  • All students, staff and faculty members are supposed to maintain 1.5 meters distance and only one person is allowed to use the elevator at a time on the campus.

Wittenborg Holland Scholarship

 

Wittenborg University of Applied Science (WUAS) offers several scholarships under the Wittenborg Holland Scholarship to talented international students who are enrolled in bachelor’s and master’s courses at WUAS, Netherlands.

Value: €5,000 in the form of fee reduction for the 1st year BBA and M.Sc degree programme.

Eligibility Criteria for Holland Scholarship

Wittenborg Holland Scholarship is available for students enrolled in BBA Specialisation and M.Sc-Business Management programmes at WUAS. The other requirements to be considered for Holland Scholarship is as follows:

  • Must be a non-EU/ EER candidate.

  • GPA in previous studies should be 7.5.

  • No GRE or GMAT score is required.

  • IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL  90 is needed to fulfil English language test requirements.

  • For scholarship at the Master’s level, the candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in a business-related field and hold 3 years of work experience. Also, they must submit the MBA personal application letter.

Candidates interested in applying for the Wittenborg MBA Scholarship-Holland Scholarship must send the MBA personal application letter along with the programme application documents at the email address - admission@wittenborg.eu.

OTS Scholarship India

 

Wittenborg University of Applied Science (WUAS) offers an OTS Scholarship to Indian students who are enrolled in the Master’s degree programmes. A total of 8 scholarships are offered under this category.

Value: €7,500

Eligibility Criteria for OTS Scholarship India (MBA)

The minimum eligibility criteria to be considered for OTS Scholarship India in case the student  is enrolled in an MBA degree programme is as follows: 

  • Must be a non-EEA student. 

  • Must never have studied in the Netherlands before.

  • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field. 

  • Must have an experience of 3 years

  • GMAT, GRE or minimum GPA is not required 

  • IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL equivalent is required to prove English proficiency

Eligibility Criteria for OTS Scholarship India (M.Sc) 

The minimum eligibility criteria to be considered for the OTS Scholarship India for any student enrolled in the M.Sc degree programme is similar to that of an MBA degree programme except that students are not required to provide proof of work experience for the scholarship..

How to Apply for  OTS Scholarship India?

Interested candidates must send the OTS Scholarship India application form along with your Wittenborg application documents via email at admission@wittenborg.eu. Also, applicants will have to inform the NESO office in the country about their application for the OTS scholarship.
