One of the oldest and prominent universities of New Zealand, Victoria University of Wellington was founded in 1897 as Victoria College. The university began its teaching in 1899 with an initial strength of 115 students under a single campus. Today, the university has three campuses that expand over the Wellington city of New Zealand namely Kelburn campus, Pipitea Campus and Te Aro campus.
