A Unique Initiative taken by Government Colleges of Rajasthan

There is good news for under graduate students of Government colleges. If they will donate three times blood in their graduation program, they will get 1% bonus mark when they will go for admission in Post Graduation Program.

Not this only, if they deposit their books on time regularly in book bank, and if they are going to prefer these books to other students every year, then also they will get 1% bonus mark.

Admission Procedure policy released on Thursday by Rajasthan Government for 2016-2017, this provision has been given in that. After that, Rajasthan is the only state in India, by who added Blood Donation in admission procedure.

This benefit will apply after main eligibility: - Higher education clearly stated that the benefit of 1% bonus mark only will have been applied if the student is eligible for PG courses. For example, If 48% Marks are mandatory for admission in any PG course and a students who want to take admission in PG only has 47 % marks in his graduation degree, then he will not eligible for this 1% mark too. This bonus mark will only counted after releasing of Cut- off Marks.

This decision has only been taken for encouragement:- State’s Technical & Higher Education Minister Kalicharan Saraf informed that this step of blood donation and Book Bank campaign has been started only for encouragement of students. Students have to present certificate of Blood Donation which they can get only from Hospital’s approved by state government.
