The seat allotment will be done based on the merit rank of the candidates in the AEEE exam, the course preference of the candidates, the number of seats available to that course, and more.
What after AEEE Second Seat Allotment Result 2026?
If the candidates are satisfied with the second round allotment and do not want to participate in the subsequent round of counselling, then they should select the “Accept” option and pay Rs 100000 to lock the choice. Candidates are not to fail to pay the seat acceptance fee before the last date; otherwise, the allotted seat will be cancelled automatically for them. The last date of fee payment for all the second round seat allottees is June 20, 2026.
On the other hand, the rest of the candidates who want to upgrade their allotment and do not want to accept the second round allotted seats, then they should participate in the AEEE mop-up round counselling. For the same reason, the candidates should not choose the “Accept” option; instead, they should select the “Slide/ Float” option to automatically participate in the mop-up round. As per the schedule, the AEEE mop-up round counselling will start on June 13, 2026.
