AP EAPCET Question Paper 2025 Tougher than Last Year: Mathematics lengthy, physics tough

AP EAPCET Question Paper 2025: Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education commenced AP EAPCET (EAMCET) 2025 on May 21 for the engineering stream. On Day 1, the question paper seemed to be 'Tough' for most of the aspirants. After the exam, a few students reported that the difficulty level of AP EAMCET 2025 has increased compared to 2024 and 2023. Recently, a similar pattern was observed in TS EAMCET 2025 where Physics was the hardest section, and the overall question paper was difficult than 2024. AP EAMCET 2025 will conclude on May 27, and the candidates can expect a similar difficulty level for the other shifts as well.

AP EAPCET Question paper 2025 Difficulty Level: Detailed insights

Based on AP EAMCET 2025 May 21 Paper Review , the difficulty level of the question paper has been analysed as follows -

• The overall difficulty level of the question paper was Tough on May 21. However, Shift 1 was tougher than Shift 2. The paper was slightly doable in Shift 2 on May 21
• Usually, Mathematics has always been a lengthy section in AP EAMCET, but the number of tough questions was more
• Physics was the hardest section this year, and it has been time-consuming as well. There were questions from almost all the chapters, and the paper was well-balanced with respect to syllabus coverage
• Chemistry, which is usually an easy subject in the AP EAMCET exam, turned out to be 'Moderate' this year. Physical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry dominated the question paper. This section too was a little time-consuming as Physical Chemistry questions needed more time to answer
• A few students from an exam centre in Vijayawada reported that they were not able to answer all the questions due to the lengthy calculations in the Mathematics section and tougher questions in Physics

AP EAPCET 2025 Subject-wise Difficulty Level on May 21 Shift 1 and 2

Students scoring more than 60 Marks in AP EAMCET 2025 can consider their performance as 'Okay', but a decent score could be around 80 or above. The difficulty level of the question paper will have an impact on AP EAMCET marks-wise expected rank 2025 , but students scoring well in the Intermediate might score a good rank. There is a 25% weightage for Intermediate marks in the entrance exam.
