Bangalore University (BU) has been delaying the results of Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) since June 2016. A total number of 95 students had taken the examination and eagerly waiting for the results. The delay in the announcement of results is an obstruction for students who are in the process to take up career opportunities.
Custodian of Commerce Department (BU), Mr. Ramachandra Gowda revealed that the department had sent the mark list to the evaluation section six weeks age. Hence, it is the responsibility of the committee to declare the results.
On the other hand, Suresh V Nadagoudar, Registrar (Evaluation) mentioned that the commerce department informed that the list of the candidates had not been prepared. The process is underway, and the candidates can contact the Head of the Department (HOD) of Commerce regarding results.
One of the students expressed that he has been visiting the ‘Parreksha Bhavan’ of the varsity for the past two months to find the result. The authorities have been giving the same excuse ever time by saying that the papers have been evaluated and the evaluation committee had not received the candidates’ list.
He further added that he is planning to join a university in the US this year. He kept all the documents ready and has been waiting for results to update his application. If he does not update the application before the deadline, he will lose Rs. 1.5 lakh which he has invested so far.
According to the sources, the custodian’s office had evaluated the answer scripts which only carry students’ registered number. It failed to prepare the candidates’ list with details such as the name of students, colleges and the marks they have secured.
