COAP Round 3 Offers 2026 Releasing Today: Candidates to Choose Accept, Retain or RejectCOAP 2026 Round 3 Counselling: Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee will announce COAP Round 3 offers on May 24, 2026, via the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP). Those students who had applied for admission in M.Tech courses or PSU jobs using their valid GATE scores can now access Round 3 offers using the official link available on the website, coap2026.iitr.ac.in . As per the official time table, applicants will be able to access and make decisions regarding offers from May 24, 10:00 AM to May 27, 09:00 AM.
COAP acts as a unified platform where candidates offered admission by any of the participating IITs and jobs by PSU can get information about various offers. COAP helps the candidate to choose the best offer among several based on their convenience and preferences.

Options Available after Round 3 COAP Offers 2026
Candidates who receive offers in the third round can opt for any of the following options available on the COAP website portal:
Option to Accept and Freeze
Candidates who are satisfied with their current offers should accept it by opting for “Accept and Freeze.” This will validate their selection in the current offer, and the candidate won’t be eligible for future rounds.
Option to Retain and Wait
The candidates opting for “Retain and Wait” have to note that they will be allowed to retain the current offer, along with eligibility for getting better offers in future rounds. This option comes with certain conditions when it is applied in later rounds, and this option cannot be chosen again for the same offer.
Option to Reject and Wait
Candidates opting out of the present offer, but interested in participating in the forthcoming rounds, can opt for “Reject and Wait.”

Candidates can adopt the following procedure for checking their round 3 offers:
- Go to the official website for COAP 2026, coap2026.iitr.ac.in
- Click on the candidate login
- Use the registered email and password
- Check the offers available on your dashboard
- Choose the desired decision option
- Submit the application before the deadline

Counselling Procedure for COAP 2026 Shall Contine Further
The counselling process for COAP 2026 will take place in a number of rounds till July 2026. Following the end of Round 3, Round 4 offer letters from IIT Roorkee will be sent out on May 31, 2026. There can be additional rounds as well.
