CSVTU,Bhilai is going to start Scheme of Informal Education for Society

Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) Bhilai has been established in the year 2005. The University incorporates the purpose of ensuring systematic, efficient and qualitative education in engineering and technological subjects including Architecture and Pharmacy at Research, Postgraduate, Degree and Diploma level. The foundation stone of the University was laid down by Hon'ble Dr. Manmohan Sigh, the Prime Minister, Govt. of India on April 30th 2005.

Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University,will now start scheme of Informal Education for Society. CSVTU has got an approval on this.
CSVTU is going to train Non Technical students under Informal Education for Society scheme with the aim to make those students capable to earn some money for them. Under this scheme also the illiterate students can take a part. Basic computer knowledge and Courses related to skill development will be the part of curriculum of this scheme.

CSVTU also took a initiative towards electricity consumption. A Solar Plant system is going to set up in CSVTU's new campus. It will cost 6 crore.
The new campus is going to be built in Nawai. The solar plant will improve the electricity facilities in the campus.
