C. V. Raman College of Engineering achieved Global Univerity status. It will now be recognized at C. V. Raman Global University. Presently, it offers engineering and management courses in various specializations. Check details here:
An order was released on February 29, 2020, by the Odisha Government after which the C. V. Raman College of Engineering is established as the C. V. Raman Global University.
C. V. Raman Global University is a private university that will offer Honors programmes in Humanities and Engineering. Specialized courses like Artificial Intelligence (AI), data analytics, robotics, VR and AR, mechatronic, cloud computing, cybersecurity, manufacturing, etc.will be also offered at the university.
Moreover, the varsity is likely to offer MBA programmes in entrepreneurship, innovation, venture development and specialized MBA programmes in aviation revenue management analysis and other specialised programmes in MBA
In an address to people, Sanjib Kumar Rout, the President and Founder of the university was thanked the Governor of Odisha Ganeshi Lal, the Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik, Chief Secretary Asit Kumar Tripathy, Odisha Skill Development and Technical Education Minister Premananda Nayak and the commissioner and secretary of Skill Development and Technical Sanjay Kumar Singh for establishing the College into a University.

About C V Raman Global University
Founded in 1997, C. V. Raman Global University was established under the C.V. Raman Group of Institutions. The university recently achieved university status by the Government of Odisha. It is situated in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
The university offers courses in engineering and management including the specialised courses. It is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and is also ISO 9001:2000 certified.
National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked the C. V. Raman College of Engineering, Bhubaneshwar (now C V Raman Global University) at 89th position among the top engineering colleges in 2018.
