Students who have taken admission or are in the process of seeking admission in the University of Delhi can enhance their studies by opting for add-on courses. Most of the colleges affiliated to DU offer career-oriented add-on courses in photography, media and mass communications and foreign languages. Institute of Home Economics (IHE) is one of the popular DU colleges that offer numerous add-on courses. The most popular new add-on courses introduced by IHE for the academic session 2018-19 are: -

  • Certificate course on Organisation and Management of Early Learning Centres
  • Computer-Aided Design
  • Radio Production & Radio Jockey

Radio Jockey course, which was introduced by IHE last year was very successful and in sync with the demand from students. With an aim to make the course more production-based, IHE redesigned the course into Radio Production & Radio Jockey. Such courses add value to the performance of students.
