The round II of the Common Admission process (CAP) for entry to the Engineering courses will start from July 11, 2017. The admission process will be organised by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra.
Admissions through Round II will be done on the basis of second Provisional Allotment List. The list will indicate the colleges and corresponding courses that will be allocated to the students on the basis of their score in MHT CET.
In 2017, Maharashtra DTE will also conduct counselling for all-India quota seats on the basis of the candidates’ score in JEE Main 2017. Candidates can check their provisional merit status on the official website of Maharashtra DTE.

Steps to check the Provisional Allotment List of Engineering CAP Round II:
- Log on to the official website of Maharashtra DTE.
- Click on the link that says ‘Provisional Allotment for CAP Round II for B.Tech and B.E. courses’.
- Log into your profile by entering your roll number and date of birth.
- Click on the ‘submit’ button and your seat allotment status will appear on the screen.
If the candidates wish to lock the seats allocated to them in CAP round II, they will have to report at the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) within the scheduled admission time. Students can lock the seats allocated to them in CAP Round II from July 11 to July 14, 2017.

The admission process on the basis of CAP Round II will close at 5:00 pm on July 14, 2017. Once the Directorate has concluded the procedure of CAP Round II, the seats that remain vacant for Round III will be displayed on July 16, 2017.
