The University of Delhi (DU) has released the B.Tech First Allotment List 2025 on June 17 at 5 PM, for admissions to its three engineering programs: Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The allotment is strictly based on candidates’ positions in the All India Common Rank List (CRL) of JEE Main 2025 Paper-I, as per the latest admission guidelines for the 2025-26 academic session. The allotment list is available online at the official DU admissions portal, where candidates can login using their JEE Application number and password to check their allotment status. Candidates have time till June 20, 4:59 PM to accept the allotted seat. The last date for online fee payment after seat acceptance is June 22, 2025, by 4:59 PM.

The seat allocation considers candidates’ course preferences, category (UR, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS, PwBD, CW, KM), and seat availability. For 2025, each B.Tech program offers 145 total seats, distributed across various categories in accordance with the university’s reservation policy. Candidates can check below the process of seat acceptance for the DU B.Tech Seat Allotment 2025:- Upon publishing of the JEE Main Results, applicants enroll on DU B.Tech Admission portal and submit personal and academic information, attach scanned documents, and pay application fee online.
- At the time of registration, candidates give their preferences of their desired B.Tech branch and the college.
- Seat allocation results by the university are published in various rounds, and these results are only determined by JEE Main Common Rank List (CRL), and student choices.
- On each allocation round, candidates must log in to their dashboard to check if a seat is allocated to them.
- Candidate can accept the provisionally allocated seat on the portal within the stipulated deadline.
- Once the seat has been accepted, the applicants should keep checking the schedule of the physical document verification on the Faculty of Technology (FoT) website.
- Candidates must attend the physical verification of documents at the Faculty of Technology as per the announced schedule.
- In case the candidate rejects the assigned seat or does not fulfill all formalities before the set deadline, they are considered to have turned down the offered seat, and they cannot take further rounds.
- In case several seats are available in a round the candidate should select only one seat.
- Final admission is granted after successful document verification and approval by the university.
