In a proud moment, a father-daughter duo in Karnataka, have passed the Karnataka Class SSLC 10 Board Examinations. The 46-year old father had given the Karnataka SSLC Examinations with his daughter this year and the results for the same were announced on Monday 29th Apil 2019.
The father, Subramanian is a field inspector in the Public Works Department. Before getting the job, he had a certificate of passing stating that he was a candidate of class 7. In 2017, he had given the examination for class 8 (ELSC) which he later cleared. This was necessary as he had wished to receive a promotion. He had also appeared for the SSLC examinations last year. For both the ESLC and SSLC examinations, he had to appear privately, sources state.
In an unfortunate circumstance, Subramanian had failed in three subjects which also included Mathematics. After failing the subjects, he had also appeared for the compartment examinations this year, however, he was not able to clear the compartment examinations.
Subramanian, along with his daughter had appeared for the Karnataka SSLC Class 10 examinations this year. Subramanian had appeared for three subjects only. Both the father and daughter had passed the class 10 examinations as per the results for class Karnataka class 10 board examinations, that had been announced on Monday, the 29th of April 2019.
In the Karnataka Class 10 examinations, the overall passing percentage of the class 10 examinations have been over 73% this year. In an impressive feat, 1626 schools all across the state have witnessed all of their class 10 students passing the Karnataka Class 10 Examinations this year. The female students have again outshone the male students by achieving a passing percentage of 78.01% in relation to the passing percentage of boys which is 66.56%
