FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) is organising an Internship programme in the month of September this year under the Internship Scheme 2019-20. According to the notification published by the authority on 7th August 2019 on its official portal, FSSAI has invited the applications for enrollment by 18th of this month. In its official Circular, the authority has mentioned the eligibility criteria, application important dates and more such information regarding the programme.

FSSAI Student Internship Programme 2019 Eligibility Criteria
In order to become eligible for the programme, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Students should currently be pursuing 3rd or 4th year of their bachelor’s degree (4 years) related to Food Technology or any relevant field.
Students who are pursuing a full-time postgraduate degree, a diploma or any Higher degree from a well-recognised Institute in India or abroad.
It is important that students are pursuing a degree or diploma in the following fields only -
Chemical Science, Life Science, Microbiology, Food Technology, Agricultural Sciences, Veterinary Sciences or any relevant field
Media and Communication
Management including Policy Regulation, Business Administration and any other related field

FSSAI Student Internship Programme 2019 - Application Process
Following is the application procedure for the internship programme being organised by the Food Safety and Standard Authority of India.
Interested candidates can apply for the internship from the official FSSAI Internship Portal.
Candidates must only use their valid or working email address to complete the application process.
Once candidates have submitted their application form, they will receive an id in the next redirected page. This is a unique id to every candidate.
Candidates will be allowed to modify the application forms multiple times using the application id.
After the final submission, candidates will not be allowed for further modifications.
Candidates who will be shortlisted will have to submit a short write up or presentation for the final selection.
The list of finalised candidates will be uploaded on the official website of FSSAI along with their date of joining.

FSSAI Student Internship Programme 2019 Tenure
As per the notification published by FSSAI:
The internship will be offered for a duration of 2 months.
If reasons are recorded in writing, the duration may be extended to a maximum of 6 months.
At different points of time, the internship will be available throughout the year.
