IIT Kanpur has posted on its official GATE 2023 exam Twitter handle at 8:00 PM that the GATE 2023 online application form will be released in a few hours.
GATE 2023 online application form is scheduled to be released today (August 30), and the application form window has not yet opened till 8:00 PM. IIT Kanpur has posted on its official Twitter handle that the aspirants need to wait a few more hours, and an official announcement will be made as soon as the registration starts. However, the exam authority did not give information on the reason for the delay.
The last date to fill the IIT Kanpur GATE 2023 application fee is September 20. Candidates belonging to the General category will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 1,700 per paper to register for the exam. On the other hand, the registration fee for SC/ ST/ PwD and Female categories is Rs. 800. Candidates pursuing 3rd-year B.Tech can also register for the exam.

IIT Kanpur has already released the two subject combinations for GATE 2023, and the candidates are advised to check the exact combination paper (2nd preference) allowed while filling the application form. Each candidate can choose a minimum of two papers for GATE 2023 subject to the eligibility criteria. The total number of papers available in GATE 2023 is 29.

There have been no major changes in GATE 2023 syllabus and exam pattern, and the entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2023. The admit card will be released on January 3, 2023.
