Key Instructions & Exam Details for Candidates
- Six-Day Exam Window: GATE 2027 will be conducted over six days across two weekends in forenoon and afternoon sessions (February 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21, 2027).
- 30 Test Papers: The examination will feature 30 test papers. Candidates can choose to appear for either one paper or a maximum of two papers based on the approved two-paper combination list provided on the portal.
- Single Application Rule: Applicants must submit only one application form. If a candidate wishes to add a second paper, it must be added to the primary application. Multiple application forms submitted by the same candidate will lead to rejection without a refund.
- DigiLocker Integration: Identity verification during the registration process on GOAPS will utilize modern protocols, including DigiLocker verification, to streamline registration and document authenticity.
