GATE COAP 2025 Deadline to Exercise Options Preponed:
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has decided to prepone the deadline for exercising Round 2 choices in the GATE COAP 2025 process. This year, applicants only have until May 25 till 6 PM to consider and respond to their offers. After Round 1 ended on May 20, the decision to prepone the date for Round 2 was made to help better line up with the academic and processing timelines of the colleges and PSUs. By shortening the Round 2 window by one day, IISc now ask students to make their decisions faster. As a result, candidates seeking M.Tech admissions or applying for jobs at PSUs with GATE scores from the years 2023, 2024 or 2025 while relying on COAP to manage their admission and job offers from IITs and IISc, are now affected. Additional COAP counselling rounds are also preponed, with Round 3 now planned for June 1 followed by Round 4 and 5 on June 7 and 13, respectively.
