Gujarat M.Tech Admission 2024: Candidates interested in admission to M. Tech courses after Gujarat PGCET or GATE exams are eligible to participate in the ACPC Gujarat M. Tech counselling 2024. The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) is a committee responsible for conducting the M.Tech admission process in Gujarat. Entrance Exams for Gujarat M.Tech Admission 2024

Admission to M.Tech courses offered at various colleges in the state of Gujarat is considered on the basis of the GATE 2024 scorecard of the relevant discipline. Those who do not have a valid GATE scorecard can apply through Gujarat PGCET scorecard.

First preference is given to candidates who have a valid GATE scorecard for M.Tech Admission. To fill the remaining seats in the M.Tech course, the PGCET scorecard is used.

Admission is granted to those candidates whose names are displayed in the merit list prepared by ACPC.

Once the merit list is prepared, the candidates will have to get their documents verified at the defined Admission centre through the counselling round. Candidates can select the choices of courses and institutes/ colleges online according to their preference to get admission in the desired course and institute.

 Gujarat M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates seeking admission to M. Tech course at a government, grant-in-aid and self-financed institution in Gujarat must meet the following eligibility criteria: -

• The candidate must hold an engineering degree in a relevant discipline

• He/ She must have scored 50% marks in the qualifying examination

• The candidate must have scored qualifying marks in GATE in the relevant discipline

• In case the candidate does not have a valid GATE scorecard, the candidate can appear in PGCET conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat

ACPC Gujarat M.Tech Application Form 2024

The Gujarat Admission Committee releases the notification in the newspaper and the official website about the dates of the application process and other information related to admission.

The procedure to complete the application process for Gujarat M.Tech admission is given below: -

1. Candidates seeking admission in M.Tech course in Gujarat can apply online through ACPC official website within the defined date. Before applying online, the applicant must first purchase the PIN cover containing the User ID and 14 digits PIN of Rs. 500 from designated ICICI bank branches within the defined date.

2. A candidate can apply for only one course through a single application. Those who wish to apply for more than one course will have to make separate registration for each course they are willing to apply.

3. The candidate must select the M.Teh course and enter the User ID and PIN to get access to the application form.

4. Candidates must fill in the online application form and also enter details of the entrance examination GATE or PGCET

5. After filling the application form, the candidate must make the payment for registration as defined by the committee.

ACPC Gujarat M.Tech Counselling Process 2024

After completing the registration, the candidate must take a printout of the application, sign it and attach the self-attested copies of certificates. They must carry the documents to the Help Centre within the time period defined by the committee. After submitting the required documents, the candidate can collect the acknowledgement receipt from the concerned person.

Those candidates who will be unable to produce the original certificates on time at the Help Centre will be registered for admission based on the following conditions:

• He/ She will have to make a payment of Rs. 5000 to the admission committee as a security deposit. The amount is refunded if the required documents are produced within five working days after deducting Rs. 500/-

• If the candidate is not able to produce original documents, his/ her registration shall be cancelled and the security deposit shall be forfeited

Gujarat MTech Admission 2024: Documents Required 

The following documents are required while applying for the Gujarat M.Tech admission- 

• Passport-sized photographs
• School Leaving Certificate/ Date of Birth Proof
• Photocopy of Aadhar Card 
• HSC Mark sheet 
• Income certificate, if applicable 
• Caste certificate, if applicable 
• In-servicemen/ Ex-servicemen Category certificate, if applicable

ACPC Gujarat M.Tech Fees 2024

Candidates whose name appears in the merit list and his/ her admission is confirmed for M. Tech course in the Government or aided college or institution through Gujarat ACPC counselling shall have to make payment of fees for the course as determined by the Gujarat Admission Committee.

Those candidates who get admission in unaided colleges or institutions shall have to make payment of tuition fees determined by the Fee Regulatory Committee under section 9 of the Act.

The guidelines to make payment is given below:

1. Payment can be done online or in the branches of banks as defined by the committee.

2. Admission will be confirmed at the respective institute only after the tuition fees is paid successfully.

3. Candidates can log in to the ACPC account and take a print out of the admission slip for reference.

4. If in any case, the tuition fees are not paid within the time period allotted, the admission of the candidate shall be cancelled. Such a candidate cannot apply for the same course in the respective institute in the further rounds of admission.

5. Candidates whose admission gets cancelled after making payment of fees will receive a complete refund of fees after the completion of the admission process.

6. In case, the candidate gets admission in another course/ college/ institution after the payment of fees, he will only have to make payment for the difference of fees.
