HNLU is a Residential University and is sixth in the series of National Law Schools in India. HNLU has been included in the list of the Universities maintained by the University Grants Commission.
Hidayatullah national Law University Raipur is becoming the first preference for law aspirants across the country. To offer admissions to more and more candidates, University officials have decided to increase 60 seats of HNLU.
Student's craze for being an HNLUite was pretty much evident in 2015 when all the seats got filled in the 2nd Counselling session. Other students were waiting for their chance but that year they could not make and had to go to other NLUs. So keeping these things in mind the seats have been increased. According to Management Committee, for L.L.B Programme, the maximum seats can be increased up to 320 which is a very good news for those who are appearing for the Law Test this year and dreaming of to take admission in HNLU.
According to an academic survey, HNLU is among the top 10 National Law Universities and it holds 6th position in the ranking.
