The electronics and communication engineering department of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad is organizing a one-month summer training program on VLSI (Very large scale integration) Design from today. More than 70 participants have registered for the VLSI Design training program. Participants from the various place such as Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore, etc. are taking part in the training program where the VLSI semiconductor industry has its hub.
As per the coordinator of the Summer training program Manish Goswami, the demand for VLSI has increased significantly in recent years as the implementation of chip design has now moved to India. Therefore to provide students with the knowledge about the VLSI Design will enhance their skills in the respective field and make them more employable.
