IIM Udaipur placements 2019 concluded on a grand note for its MBA students. The students received both national and international offers during IIM Udaipur placements. Many international companies from countries such as Singapore, Oman, Kuwait, and Dubai participated in the placement process. As compared to last year, there has been an increase in the average salary and many first-time recruiters were part of the respective placement season.

IIM Udaipur final placement record is the most important thing that students look for before taking admission here. Through this section of IIM Udaipur placement, students can get an idea of the yearly placement offers, average packages, placement statistics and so on.  A maximum number of offers were made in BFSI followed by Technology and Consulting. Besides this, the Sales and Marketing and Business Development department witnessed the highest number of roles offered.

Major Highlights of the IIM Udaipur Final Placements for MBA 2018-20

IIM Udaipur has successfully concluded its summer placement process for the PGP batch of 2018-20. The 2020 PGP graduating batch of IIM Udaipur created an impressive record in the summer placements 2018-19. Out of 256 students, 237 students participated in the summer placements of IIM Udaipur. The remaining students opted for the Summer Entrepreneurship programme at the Incubation Centre of IIM Udaipur Entrepreneurship Cell.

Compared to the previous year, IIM Udaipur has witnessed a surge of 15% in the average stipend offered this year. This year, the average stipend offered at IIM Udaipur summer placement was Rs 62,051 per month. On the other hand, the highest stipend offered at IIM Udaipur summer placement 2018-19 was Rs 2,40,000. Compared to the previous year, the highest stipend witnessed a growth of 20% this year.

At IIM Udaipur summer placements 2018-19, 13 students bagged the international offers while nine students were offered international offers in 2018.

A total number of 63 companies participated in the IIM Udaipur summer Placements 2018-19. Goldman Sachs and HSBC are the two popular companies that offered internship offers to IIM Udaipur students for the first time. The number of offers in BFSI and Healthcare sector witnessed a surge this year.

The summer placements process for the PGP class of 2019 at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Udaipur has been concluded. Compared to the previous batch, the PGP batch of 2019 witnessed a 28% increase in the number of students. The premier management institute has been successful in placing 232 students. Among them, 210 students sought placements through IIM Udaipur, while nine students chose summer entrepreneurship programmes offered by IIM Udaipur’s Entrepreneurship Cell.

For the PGP batch of 2019, a total number of 71 companies offered summer internships. Last year, only 46 companies took part in the summer placements. This year, there is positive growth in terms of the number of companies and internship opportunities.

This year, the highest stipend offered to the students stood at Rs 2,00,000, while the average stipend offered was Rs 53,910.

This year, the average stipend offered to the top 10 students is Rs 1,21,428, while the average stipend of top 50 students is Rs 77,380. Compared to the previous year, there is significant growth in the average and highest stipend offered to students. The stipend will be provided for the entire duration of the internship.

This year, a total number of nine students secured international offers. Xpress Money emerged as a major recruiter in terms of international offers. The average stipend for international placement is Rs 1,08,889.

The Major Highlights of IIM Udaipur MBA Final Placements 2017-18

IIM Udaipur has successfully completed the placement process for its PGP batch of 2014-16. 84% of students of the PGP 2014-2016 had prior work experience of 24 months. The placement process successfully placed 113 students with 5 students opting out of the process. The average package for the top 25 percentile is Rs 18.13 lakh while that for the top 50 percentile is Rs 15.64 lakh.

• The average salary is approximately Rs 12.91 lakhs.
• The highest domestic package offered is Rs 21.5 lakhs.
• The highest international package offered is Rs 25 lakhs.

About 15% of the students bagged either a pre-placement offer or an interview. Companies like General Electric, Titan and Cummins were amongst the few who recruited through this route. GE offered leadership roles to the students.

The notable thing about the 2016 placement is that the campus had new international recruiters including FMCG giants like The Al-Babtain Group and the Bakhresa Group that offered opportunities in the Middle East and Africa respectively. The BFSI sector recruited 26 students while consulting saw such companies as Cognizant Business Consulting, Deloitte, KPMG and ICRA hiring 13 students.

This year, a total number of 14 students received international offers. The number of international placements doubled this year and the average stipend offered was Rs1,08,425 for two months.

Most of the students bagged jobs in the Sales and Marketing domain. A total number of 24 offers were made in Finance followed by 23 offers in the Strategy/ Consulting domain. Only seven offers were made in Human Resource Management.
