IISc Summer Fellowship 2018: Science, Engineering Registration Begins

Indian Institute of Science-IISc is inviting applications for Summer Fellowship in Science and Engineering 2018. The IISc summer fellowship 2018 is only open for SC/ST candidates. The institute is only seeking candidates studying in M.Sc first year in the disciplines such as biological, Chemical, Physical and Mathematical Sciences and the engineering students or equivalent degree. The online registration for the IISc Summer Fellowship has started and the last date to submit the applications is April 25, 2018. Once the institute is done with the selection process, they will be provided with free lodging and boarding facilities at IISc. Candidates shortlisted for the fellowship will get to work with the renowned faculty of IISc and gain knowledge about various methods and techniques used in research.

• The IISc Summer Fellowship is only for candidates from SC/ST category.
• Students from second-year M.Sc and fourth-year B.E/ B.Tech programmes can apply for the fellowship.
• The duration of the fellowship is 1 month. It will be conducted in June - July 2018.
• Summer Fellowship has a remuneration of Rs. 5000 and a book grant of Rs. 1500.

Once the candidates have submitted their online application, they have to take out the print out of the same attach their latest passport size photograph and get it signed it by the Principal of the college. After the application has been signed by the Principal, the application has to be scanned in PDF or JPG format and the same has to be uploaded on the IISc official website.
