IIT BHU commenced its placement 2021 session on December 01, 2021. The US-based company, Uber also visited the campus for placement on the first day and selected 5 students for placement. One of those students was offered the highest package of Rs. 2.05 LPA.

The IIT BHU Director, Professor Pramod Kumar Jain stated that the students of IIT BHU are in demand for both domestic and international firms as the students of the institute are innovative thinkers, technically sound, team players, and have a good personality. The director also stated that many top firms visit the campus for placement with some of the best packages offered to the graduates. For placement 2021, various top firms such as Under, Microsoft, Google, and others visited the campus offering packages up to Rs. 2 Crores LPA. The director also said that the students of IIT BHU have always been successful in every sector or firm that get placed at.

IIT placements have started and all the IITians are excelling in terms of getting international job offers at impeccable packages. Top IITs such as IIT Madras, IIT Guwahati, IIT Roorkee, and IIT Mandi have started the placement session for 2021 on December 1st as well. There were a total of 200 job offers made on the first day of placement at IIT Guwahati, and 176 job offers made on the first day of placement at IIT Madras. 13 students at IIT Roorkee recieved international offers and a total of 137 students were placed on the first placement drive at IIT Mandi.
