IIT JAM 2027 Registration Date Revised to September 12IIT JAM 2027 Registration Date: The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has made a change to the date of the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2027 registration process. In the latest development, the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) website will become active on September 12, 2026 , for submission of application forms instead of September 5, 2026. The last date for application is October 12, 2026 . IIT Kharagpur has also issued the IIT JAM 2027 Brochure, which has information regarding the eligibility criteria, test papers, application process, exam pattern, admission, and other important instructions.

IIT JAM 2027 Registration: Eligibility Criteria & Courses of Study
- Academic Eligibility: Applicants should have pursued an undergraduate degree from a recognized university or institution, or be in the final year of their qualifying degree.
- No Percentage Bar: There is no minimum percentage barrier to appear for the entrance exam.
- Programs Offered: Successful candidates are eligible to apply for admission to the M.Sc, M.Sc. (Tech), M.S. (Research), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., and M.Sc.-Ph.D Dual Degree at all Participating IITs, IISc Bengaluru, and CFTIs through CCMN counseling.
IIT JAM 2027 Examination: General Guidelines for Registration
Enrolment in the JOAPS Portal: Applicants need to register once in the JOAPS portal with a valid email ID and mobile number to receive the login credentials.
Choice of Test Papers: Candidates may choose to take one or two papers, based on the availability of sessions that do not clash.
Upload Document Requirements: You should have the soft copies of compulsory certificates in the JPEG/PDF format at the time of filling the application.
- High-quality passport-size photograph and scanned signature.
- Marks sheet of Class 10/SSLC (date of birth proof)
- Marks memo/certificate of qualifying UG degree
- Valid caste/Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS)/PwD Certificate (if applicable)
