IIT JAM First Admission List 2025 to be released on May 26 at jam2025.iitd.ac.in

IIT Delhi is set to release the IIT JAM First Admission List 2025 on May 26. Candidates will be able to check their first admission list by logging into the official site using their enrollment number and password.

IIT JAM First Admission List 2025: The First Admission List for IIT JAM 2025 will be available on May 26, 2025, at the official portal, jam2025.iitd.ac.in. To check if they have been shortlisted, candidates should log in with their enrollment number and password on the candidate portal. The First Admission List is prepared following the candidates’ listed preferences in their admission form and their respective ranks in the IIT JAM Merit List 2025. Candidates given a seat after the list comes out must log in and pick their preference among Accept and Freeze, Accept with Upgrade, or Reject and Quit before May 30, 2025. Seat booking can only be confirmed once Rs 10,000/- is deposited by General category candidates and Rs 5,000/- for SC, ST, or PwD candidates. If there are still empty seats after this first round, other admission lists will be posted on June 8, June 16, and June 30, 2025. Important information like opening and closing ranks, as well as further instructions, can be found only on the official portal.

To check the first admission list for IIT JAM 2025 exam, students can follow the steps mentioned below:

Access the official IIT JAM 2025 website as stated above.
Now, students must access the JOAPS (JAM Online Application Processing System) portal by clicking the relevant link.
Students will be required to enter their enrollment number and password to login.
Complete the captcha verification as prompted on the device's screen
Click on the "Submit" button.
The IIT JAM 2025 admission list will be displayed to students on their computer screens.
Students are advised to download and save the admission list for future reference.

If a student's name appears on the admission list, they must choose one of the following options within the portal:

"Accept and Freeze" (to accept the seat and not participate in further rounds),
"Accept with Upgrade" (to accept the seat but be considered for better preferences in following rounds),
"Reject and Quit" (to reject the offer and exit the process)
