IIT Mandi is conducting its first phase of the campus placement process for the year 2021-22 till mid-December. Check out all the details regarding the IIT Mandi campus placement process like the mode of the placement process, total recruiters etc from below.
The phase 1 placement process is currently underway at IIT Mandi and according to the institute’s placement record, it is already performing better compared to the previous year. As of 01st December, IIT Mandi has successfully placed 137 students in various top companies like Amazon, Walmart, Adobe, Capgemini, Reliance Jio, Paytm, and many more. Till 1st December, the recruiters have made a total of 166 offers. The IIT Mandi phase 1 placement process, which began mid-October this year, will conclude by the middle of December 2021.
According to the official placement report, IIT Mandi is currently seeing a 9% rise in maximum salary, 13% in average salary, and 16% in median salary compared to the previous year. It is expected that these numbers will only go up from here and touch new highs by the termination of the phase 1 placement process in mid-December.

A total of 102 companies, including Samsung Bangalore, Google, Sprinkler, Qualcomm, Nvidia, KPMG, TCS, etc are participating in this year’s campus recruitment drive being conducted by IIT Mandi. Students have been hired in various profiles such as Software Engineer, Business Analyst, Product Engineer, Financial Analyst, etc.
Before conducting the recruitment drive, IIT Mandi had conducted resume-building workshops, alumni talk sessions, industry expert interaction sessions, and career guidance sessions.
The placement process of IIT Mandi this year is completely virtual as the eligible students and recruiters are connecting on a virtual platform from various parts of the country.
At least 51 students from IIT Mandi had got pre-placement offers, i.e, they had received placement offers before the campus placement process commenced. The institute has also received 7 international offers to date from companies like Weather News, Enjoy LLC, and Accenture.
