Telangana SSC Board leaves no stones unturned to avoid messing up the class 10 examinations unlike the 11th and 12th Intermediate examinations. The Education Department has issued a notice to the board to double check the copies.

After Intermediate Goof-Up, Telangana to Double Check Class 10 Results before Releasing

After Telanaga’s secondary Intermediate education council goofed up the class 11 and 12 results in 2019, the state government education board is taking extra precautions to ensure that there are no such cases in the class 10 results which are about to get released.

Today at 11:30 am, in the State Secretariat of Telangana, the Telangana Board SSC Class 10th results are going to be announced. After the announcement, the results will be live on the official websites of Telangana results and Telangana secondary results which are www.bse.telangana.gov.in and http://results.cgg.gov.in respectively.

The Class 10 SSC examination of Telangana board was held from 16th May to 2nd April 2019. According to the normal guidelines, the results are declared within three weeks but the board decided to go with a double check so that there is no goof-up in the 10th Results unlike the 11th and 12th Intermediate results.

An anonymous senior official at the Telangana education department said that the state board had no options but to hurry up the intermediate examination results as there are more examinations coming up such as engineering entrance and various college entrance tests. He added that as there are no such hurries for Class 10 students, they can wait for the results which are assured to be full proof.

B Janardhan Reddy, the secretary of the education department of Telangana state has said that if out of 11 papers a student scores fewer marks in just 1 paper, and good marks in other 10, the copy will be sent for revaluation. Similarly, the copy has to be re-evaluated if the student gets less marks in just one subject and scores 90% marks in at least 5 subjects. The direction was given by Reddy to the SSC board of Telangana in a meeting with the directorates and officials of Telangana SSC Board.

In case of a student getting abnormally low in some subjects and high marks in some subjects, the SSC authority will themselves consider copies for re-evaluation apart from the government education dept’s guidelines in the case of such deviations.

Reddy has also directed the education board to provide the schools with a web link where they will be able to see the results of their students and can raise concerns immediately with the board and DGE office if they consider something wrong.

The authority also has to launch a mobile application in their plans which will help the parents raise concerns on the class 10 results of their wards. The official claimed that any grievances raised by the students will be resolved within two days. He added that after all, the life of a student is more important than marks. The board ensures no mistakes from their end but has requested parents not to get disheartened if their ward does not score good or fails.
