IP University announces students’ panel

Unlike Delhi University where politics and elections gained a lot of media hype and attention because of its campaign, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has recently announced its students’ council for the academic session 2015-16. The media reports revealed.
The IP University has a month-long election process, but there is no campaigning or political party involved in the elections unlike the students’ council elections in Delhi University or Jawaharlal Nehru University.
According to The Hindu, for the academic session 2015-16, Arun Kumar, a student of University School of Law and Legal Studies (USLLS) has been elected as president; Sidhant Talwar, a student of USLLS has been elected as vice-president and Sidhant Singh, a student of University School of Chemical Technology (USCT) has been elected as the general secretary.
Professor A.K. Saini of School of Management Studies (USMS) was the Chief Election Officer for the Student’s Council election.
