The Government of Rajasthan will be organizing a festival of education in an attempt to make Rajasthan an education hub. The education festival is first of its kind and will be held in Jaipur in April 2017. The festival will continue for two days where renowned academicians and faculty across the globe will come together.

Students and teachers from different schools will get the opportunity to interact and learn from global education experts. Events like entertaining and informative extravaganza will be organized by the state government in collaboration with Gems Education – a Dubai-based education organization under a MoU.
Vasundhara Raje, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, unveiled the theme and logo of the event in New Delhi. Addressing the gathering there, she talked about the progress that Rajasthan had made in the field of education. She said that education awareness is improving in the state and the percentage of children enrolled in government schools has gone up.
The government has taken initiatives to provide these children quality education with proper infrastructure through government schools, the CM added. Teachers in the school are also being offered training in order to provide proper education.
Amreesh A Chandra, Group President, Gems Education India, added that this festival is a welcome step that will impact the life of many students. He also informed that 10 best teachers will be picked from the government schools of Rajasthan and will be felicitated in Dubai. Gems Education will also assist the state government in filling the infrastructure gap at 50 Adarsh and Utkarsh Vidyalayas.
The education festival in Jaipur will be a platform for learning and teaching through exhibitions, educational sessions, master classes, concerts and talent competition. The festival will also be a centre for sharing curriculum enhancement ideas and capacity building.
