From mastering aerospace engineering to excelling in the field of artificial intelligence, candidates who cracked JEE Main 2018 have big aspirations and dreams. Candidates who have successfully cleared the JEE Main exam are preparing for the JEE Advanced exam to secure a seat in any of the IIT Colleges in India to pursue the courses of their choice.
Martand Dubey, who topped JEE Main 2018 from the Uttarakhand region scored 226 marks and his overall ranking in the entrance test was 3,027. He worked very hard the entire academic year to get a step closer to pursuing B.Tech course at his dream Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Dubey wishes to study aerospace engineering which is currently offered only by IIT Delhi and IIT Kanpur. He also said that he has been tirelessly preparing for JEE Advanced which is now scheduled to take place on 20th May with an aim to secure a seat in one of these institutes.

Saumya Rawat was the second topper from the region and belongs to Dehradun. She secured 203 marks. The next in line toppers from the region are Vaishnavee Nautiyal and Tashi Jain with 181 and 180 marks respectively. All three of them wish to pursue computer science engineering at different IITs. A good number of students from Uttarakhand, not necessarily from Dehradun also secured good ranks in JEE Main 2018.
Another candidate who came to the city for JEE Main crash course, Akshat Vijay, also emerged successful and secured 256 marks in the exam. He wishes to pursue Artificial Intelligence and make it big in the field.
Most of the toppers from the state were taking coaching at Aviral Coaching Classes in Dehradun. DK Mishra, Director of Aviral Coaching Classes congratulated his students on their success. Students of the center said that even after completing their course, faculty from the institute was there to continuously guide them and provide them assistance whenever they needed it.
