JNTU Vizianagaram UG Students Bag Placements in Reputed Companies

In a proud moment for the Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University, the engineering students have been placed in some of the top companies in the industry even before completing their undergraduate course. At a time where job vacancies for engineering graduates are limited, JNTU has been able to place its students in good positions and reputed companies.

The Jawaharlal Nehru University has been able to maintain a good reputation in the sector of education for engineering, which has attracted various companies to select students from the campus. Among the many campuses that the varsity owns including campuses at Kukatpally, Anantapur, Kakinada and Vizianagaram, the JNTU College of Engineering Vizianagaram has been able to place its students in various companies.

The faculty and the placement cell of Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University have been able to provide the students with required guidance and the needed assistance in developing an attractive profile.

Among the companies that came to Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University include giants like Tata Consultancy Services, Hyundai, Wipro, Infosys, Cerium Systems, CTS, Miracle along with many other companies. The companies had visited the campus, conducted several interviews and selected the best candidates for the different positions. Some of the candidates had also received packages that are at par with the packages that are received by students being placed from reputed and premier institutes like IITs and NITs. The highest package had been allotted to S Akhila Preethi, a student from the Department of Computer Science with a package of ₹7.2 lakhs per annum.
