Each IIT has a tuition fee of Rs 1,00,000/- per semester, the fee concession in which is as follows. It is important to note that other applicable fees will vary from institute to institute.
- Open/OBC family income above 5 lakhs: No concession
- Open/OBC family income between 1 to 5 lakhs: 2/3rd fee waived off, 1/3rd to be paid
- SC/ST and Open/OBC family income below 1 lakh: Full concession, no fee to be paid
