Axis Colleges, Kanpur to organise its state-level Annual Techno Cultural & Sports festival IDAA 2017 from March 8 to 10, 2017. This is the fourth installment of IDAA since its inception in 2014. The festival encourages holistic development of students. It motivates the students to engage in extra-curricular activities in the field of technology, cultural activities and sports.
Various technical, cultural and sports events will be organized on the campus of Axis Colleges. Axis Colleges has announced cash prizes for the winners of various events. IDAA 2017 will offer cash prizes up to Rs.5,00,000 to the winners of the event.

Following are some of the major attractions of IDAA 2017:
- Celebrity Night with Lyricist and 4 Film Fare Award winner – Sameer Anjaan presenting ‘Safarnama’ on March 8, 6:00 pm onwards.
- Bands’ Night with Khwahishh Band and Strings Band on March 8 and 9 respectively.
- Fashion Show on March 10 from 6:00 pm onwards.
Entry to the event will be done only on the basis of passes. Students willing to apply for the event can register either online or offline. Online registrations can be done through the official website of the institute, whereas, offline registrations can be done by visiting the campus of the institute.
IDAA is organized around specific themes. The first celebration of IDAA in 2014 was dome on the ‘Pirates of Caribbean’ theme, whereas, in 2016 the theme was Saptrang, i.e. the 7 colors of spectrum that highlighted VIBGYOR.
