Important Instructions for Round 2 Candidates

Auto-Locking Rule: Options saved in the portal as of the closing time on August 13, 2026, will be automatically locked by KEA. Unsaved or incomplete choices will not be evaluated during the allotment process.

  • Upgradation vs. Retention: Candidates who were allotted seats in Round 1 and entered "Choice 2" (seeking betterment) can re-order or add higher preferences. If a new seat is allotted in Round 2, the Round 1 seat will be automatically surrendered.
  • Fresh Applicants & Re-entry: Unallotted candidates or qualified applicants participating in Round 2 should enter a sufficient number of preferences to maximize their chances of seat allocation.
  • Post-Allotment Options: Following the declaration of Round 2 allotment results on August 19, 2026, candidates will be limited primarily to Choice 1 (Accept and freeze seat) or Choice 4 (Exit the counselling process).
