The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India Assistant Mains Exam was held on December 22, 2019, in two shifts. It successfully organised the first shift for around 8,000 vacancies. Candidates who got through the LIC Assistant Prelims 2019 appeared for the Mains to get hold of the position of an LIC Assistant. According to the students who appeared for the exam, the paper was moderate wherein the candidates could attempt more than 120 questions out of a total of 200 questions.
The LIC Assistant Mains Exam was conducted online which comprised of 200 multiple-choice questions. The paper was divided into four sections including Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, General/Financial Awareness, and English language. For each section, the candidates were given 30 minutes. The paper also incorporated a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every answer that is incorrect.
