Understanding the Structure of MAH MBA CET Seat Matrix
The seat matrix gives an easy-to-understand matrix with respect to each category before options filling is done. It follows the typical state reservation pattern as under:
State Quota Seats (85%): Allotment is done through online CAP rounds purely on the basis of MAH MBA CET 2026 scores and state merit rank.
- Home University (HU) Quota: Seats allotted for students who belong to the university jurisdiction of their qualifying graduation degree.
- Other than Home University (OHU) Quota: Seats for state students other than those belonging to the university jurisdiction.
All India (AI) Quota Seats (15%): Seats in government/aided institutions for non-Maharashtra/Maharashtra students according to MAH CET, CAT, CMAT, XAT, MAT, and ATMA scores.
Categories: 50% General Merit/Open Category, 19% OBC, 13% SC, 7% ST, along with sub-categories (VJ/DT, NT-A/B/C/D), EWS (10% horizontal), and TFWS seats.
