According to the notification, the examination will be held on March 30, 2026. This entrance test is conducted for postgraduate aspirants seeking admission to MCA programmes offered by various institutes across Maharashtra. The exam will be administered in online mode and will evaluate candidates across four major areas: Mathematics & Statistics, Logical/Abstract Reasoning, English Comprehension & Verbal Ability, and Computer Concepts.

The MAH MCA CET exam 2026 will carry a total of 200 marks, featuring 100 questions in all. The Mathematics & Statistics and Logical/Abstract Reasoning sections will each include 30 questions, while English Comprehension & Verbal Ability and Computer Concepts will have 20 questions each. The Mathematics section will primarily cover topics from the Class 12 level.
